My Top 3 Reasons To Book a Boudoir Session
There can be many reasons why you should book a boudoir session. In fact, I could probably write a few posts about all the different reasons! But today, we’ll focus on these three:
Empowerment
Now more than ever, it’s so important to give women a voice. It’s important to help women feel worthy and loved, to help them feel like themselves, and to help them love themselves. All women should celebrate themselves in a very big and grand way - even when they may not think they deserve it!
Booking a boudoir session can do all of these things. That may seem hard to believe, but you won’t know until you step out of your comfort zone and just go for it! Sometimes it takes diving into the deep end to realize how good a swimmer you are.
Whether you’re feeling empowered and want a photoshoot or you need to find some empowerment, boudoir could be the answer. I want this experience to give you the courage and confidence to do other things that challenge you.
2. You’re getting married! Yay, congrats!!
Let me start by saying, I always tell my clients that booking a boudoir session is for THEM. That is and will always be the number one reason I recommend women have a boudoir experience - how it will make THEM feel. However, I sure do love a good little-black-book-giving on a wedding day.
And I’m not alone! A beautiful, intimate boudoir album has quickly become the gift of gifts on a wedding day. It really is the perfect way to present your partner with a wedding gift that makes them thank their lucky stars that you chose them. ;)
3. Fu*k cancer!!
I have tremendous respect for everyone who has battled breast cancer. There are a couple different angles women have approached booking a boudoir session related to their cancer. Some women like to be photographed before a surgery like a mastectomy to have a keepsake that celebrates their body. Some women use it as a victory lap after they’ve kicked cancer's ass and want to celebrate the body they’ve fought so hard for! Regardless of the reason, it would be an honor for me to be the one to document you.
